American helmet with front seam and fixed bales. The shell is in good condition. A pressure crack on the left to the front of the helmet and an entry hole to the back of the helmet. The shell is marked with a NCO follow me bar on the back of the helmet. The part with the hook on the webbing chin strap is still attached to the shell. The other part is missing the buckle and not attached to the helmet anymore. With Westinghouse liner. The liner is marked with the 2nd Infantry Division symbol which was painted by hand. Also on the liner there is the NCO follow me bar. The entry hole also goes through the liner. Most webbing is present and damaged in one place. The A-washers are rusty and the leather head band is missing. Judging by these damages and the entry hole this is most likely a KIA helmet. The leather chin strap for the liner is present and a bit dry. Unique untouched set with interesting details!
